About Stellenbosch

Stellenbosch is a university town in South Africa's Western Cape province. It's surrounded by the vineyards of the Cape Winelands and the mountainous nature reserves of Jonkershoek and Simonsberg. The town's oak-shaded streets are lined with cafes, boutiques and art galleries. Cape Dutch architecture gives a sense of South Africa's Dutch colonial history, as do the Village Museum's period houses and gardens.

Our farm is in the beautiful and peaceful Blaauwklippen Valley with easy access to both the town itself (10 minutes), Techno Park (8 minutes) or Somerset West (20 minutes). There is a Kwik Spar, Tops and 24-hour Woolworths conveniently located at the Engen service station at the start of Blaauwklippen Road (about 5 mins away from the farm).

Cape Town International airport is 40 minutes away, and travelling to Cape Town will take about an hour (traffic dependent)

There is lots to do and see in the area. A few ideas are listed below.
